As a brand with a strong grasp of who they are and what they stand for, our challenge with Great Yellow Brick Co was to simplify and amplify their brand, and to create an identity and flagship eCommerce experience. Our aim to draw attention around GYBC as a new brand and how quickly we can educate customers around who they are and drive traffic to their new store.

Work

We worked alongside the team at Great Yellow Brick Co to establish a strategy aligned with the brand’s ambition and their audience’s desires. From identity and messaging, to the digital platform and eCommerce within it, we brought their personality forward to establish an experience that expresses their message that GYBC is the “Only offical LEGO® Certified Store in South Africa.”

Inspired by the Danish phrase "leg godt" meaning "play well. Founder, Ole Kirk Kristiansen took the beginning of each respective word and made what he considered to be a pleasant-sounding, imaginary word 'LEGO'.
