looking for a candidate to fill the Social Media Content Creator role. The perfect candidate should be keen to learn and join our team, which consistently raises the bar on creativity. The ideal candidate is a talented unicorn with design and copywriting skills who can work alongside a team, and independently, in the strategy, creation, and execution of clients’ creative needs.

This role will form an integral part of the social media team and the successful candidate will be working closely with the marketing team in assisting to create clients’ digital content.

Applicants must be based in Cape Town. 60% of your time will be office-based, Paarden Eiland. To start ASAP.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Interact with our team and clients to understand and refine their creative requirements
  • Strategise with the team on marketing content – visual and written – for new and existing clients
  • Basic Video and animation
  • Copywriting
  • Posting and scheduling content to various platforms
  • Basic template artwork
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure social media best practice is applied to all creative assets
  • Work quickly and carefully to bring strategies to life
  • Follow a brief from inception to final output

Skills and Qualifications

  • Copywriting
  • Experience in using Adobe programmes: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Experience in creating image-based content for web/social media
  • Experience in Publer is advantageous
  • Experience in Facebook and Instagram
  • Dedication to innovative and collaborative problem solving
  • Ability to strategise and conceptualise client content
  • Previous social media content creation is advantageous
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Premier, After Effects, Xd would be beneficial
